A whirlwind.....

A whirlwind sums up our life lately. I don't even know the last time I posted. Ugh. So, we have attended funerals, for both the young and old - celebrated birthdays, had new births (not us, friends)- won and lost baseball games - had sick kids, healthy kids and got some family pictures taken. I can't even begin to go through the details of everything that has gone on in what feels like years, but has only been a month or so. One of our friends lost her husband in an explosion in Anacortes, witnessing what that family has gone through, has changed our lives. Listening to what people had to say about Matt, and what Rachel has to say about him, made me want to be a better person, be a better mother and friend.
