Yep. Already. Early registration is done... my little girl will be off to Kindergarten in the fall. Where has time gone? It's funny how you really lose time. I look at Camden who's just about 2, and can't hardly even remember what Cadynce was like at 2. I need to go back in time and lock down those memories.
How do you save your memories?

stinky
I was watching Conner today (a friends 2 year old and good pal to my kiddos) and the kids had a blast. While they were playing with the toy kitchen I was in doing laundry and Cadynce comes in, "mom, you need to change one of the boy's diapers because someone is stiiiii-iiinky." It was so funny how she was just so matter of fact about it and it wasn't a big deal, just something that had to be dealt with. So it was dealt with and then life was good again.

counting...
My mom (crazy Lulu) came to visit the kids this morning. When she's here I always take advantage and run around and do a few things, but believe me, I don't venture far or leave them for long. The kids always enjoy her coming to play, especially Cadynce, as my mom is super inter-active with them. She is always incorporating learning into whatever they're doing. I SO swear she did not do any of this with me. Really. She didn't. Whatever. Rather she did it with them anyhow. One thing they are always doing is counting things and Cadynce is already a great counter, but I laughed so hard today when my mom asked her to count her little chicks. (Crazy Gramma Lulu brought these weird little fuzzy toy chicks. I'm talking really weird.) Anyhow... (there are 6) so she counts them, "1, 2, 3.. " etc.. up to 6. I ask her to count as high as she can so she can show my mom. So Cadynce starts to count again. "1, 2, 3...twenty free, twenty four... twenty nine" and a long pause ensues. Caca looks up at me questioningly, " Twenty - Ten?" It took every single bit of willpower not to laugh, but the look on her sweet little face, oh my gosh. I told her that was a very good try, but the next was thirty. She took off from there again and would have kept counting as long as someone would tell her what came after the something - nine's.

beginning to sew...
I'm pretty proud of myself.. I actually got out the sewing machine that I received as a Christmas gift from Rhonda a few years ago and started sewing. I made some cute burp rags for baby Sophie Lou. My lines aren't very straight all the time, but I'm sure with practice I'll get better!
Baby Sophie Lou!!!
